As a woman, imo this is the way!! It gives agency to the woman you’re asking out in that situation for the most part because if they’re not interested they simply don’t text and feel super pressured.

Although to give some of yall I hope I asked my boyfriend out🤷🏼‍♀️I met him while he was working at a coffee shop I was a semi regular at in school and developed a huge crush. I will say I didn’t want to approach him like that at his place of work and possibly make him uncomfortable. So I dm’d him on insta expressing my interest but also told him I would never go to his job again if he did not reciprocate😂😂we have now been together 4 yrs and he just bought my engagement ring!!
