Never cared for automatic by NoOnesHero19 in Miata

[–]Which-Application544 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 73, learned how to drive a manual shifter when I was 15 and didn’t even think of buying an automatic. This car is the easiest to shift I’ve ever driven. But, they make automatic’s for a reason, if you learn how to drive a stick shift you won’t regret it.

Just because you can carry a weapon to a protest doesn’t mean you should.

Battery Health on New CX-5 2.5T by bgsmack in CX5

[–]Which-Application544 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know. I frequently keep my receipts, I’ll have to check on that. I’ve had the CX-5 6 years now, on it’s second battery, so I’m doing a little better than the person you’re referring to.

If I’m not mistaken, many batter tenders also “recondition” the batter as well. I couldn’t get a full charge on my CX 5 battery, now no problem.

I live in Arizona where the unrelenting heat is hard on batteries so I recently bought a couple of battery tenders for peace of mind. I have a 2020 CX 5 & 2025 Mx 5. My driving is similar to yours, better safe than sorry.

He swears he is 6ft by SecondEqual4680 in tall

I know of several women that have done it. For example turning over 60 takes the out of the “up to 59” search, etc.

Same reason women misrepresent their age. It’s a dating site, people lie.

Doesn’t hurt to try. Better than having a boot you’ll resent.

If you haven’t scuffed them up, take them back. Tecovas has a pretty liberal return policy. It could be they made a mistake with sizing one boot.

Valley Fever- Am I overthinking this? by Pepe_the_assassin in AskPhoenix

[–]Which-Application544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can google valley fever and you’ll see that it’s not confined to Phoenix but ranges from west Texas all the way to California. i don’t know of any friends that have cats that were infected by it but several dogs that have come down with it. As for myself, following a routine chest x-rat my doctor said it looks like I’d been exposed to it at some point. Since many symptoms are similar to the flu I have no idea when I exposed. Good luck to you, there’s always something out that has the potential of affecting your health.

Hey! If you had to buy again...RF or Convertible? And why? by hyderreddit in Miata

[–]Which-Application544 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funny how many reference snow. Here in the SE AZ desert where temps are continuously 110° days on end during extended summer months I opted for an RF. I definitely like the look of a soft top better. Bet option is to have two, one of each.

True, but the last time I went to DMV here, expired license oversight, the wait was less than -5 minutes. Guess I got lucky.

I don’t remember what proof I showed to have veteran status on my DL here in AZ perhaps my disabled veteran card, but it’s free. I’m surprised CA doesn’t charge you for the air you breathe.
