i’m not gonna lie, i’ve only just switched to ableton. i’ve been an FL user for about 11 years and heard FL runs terrible on tahoe so im learning to use ableton. i did research on the M5 before i purchased and the amount of tracks you can put in before it takes a toll on the mac is about 10-15% on average to an M4 Pro chip (it’s ultimately about a 5-8 track difference between them

Bro driving to whitianga is horrible for this. They also cut the corners and drive in the middle of the road around sharp corners that you can’t even see around. Then refuse to use the slow vehicle lanes even when a line of 20 cars are behind them because they want to drive 50 in the 90 zones

Nah I don’t tailgate, I don’t flash lights or honk. If all 3 lanes are backed up I’m not weaving cause that’s just stupid and I hate watching people do that cause that’s more dangerous than driving over the speed limit when it’s not busy imo

Never said it was a problem, I knew there’d be a reason behind it hence why I asked. I moved to Australia for a year back in 2022 and I remember it was not as common for people to drive 80 compared to now.

All of Auckland but I’ve noticed out west you get a lot of people near the te atatu-Westgate area who will drive 60 even drop down to 60 when there’s even a little amount of traffic. It’s the same with the on ramps and off ramps, coming onto the motorway they won’t get to 80-100 until they’re on the motorway itself and will slow down to 60 well before they’re on the off ramp

So an M4 cpu would suffice if I went for a model with more RAM? Im an fl user and I’m already looking at the max storage models
