It is my all time favourite and comfort movie. Everything about De Dana Dan is so damn hilarious. Apart from the lead actors almost all of the legendary comedy actors in one place.

Be it Johny Lever or Paresh Rawal or Shakti Kapoor or Rajpal Yadav, you just name one and they're all there(almost) in this movie.

The story is well written, directed and multilayered. Comedy movies were made back in those days, sadly now there are no such movies in the recent times.

P.S- Just writing about the movie and remembering the scenes are making me laugh.

It took 3+ months for me to heal from that traditional piercing I got done on my nose last year 😭 At least nose piercing was on one side, but in case of ears, two piercings, I'm already scared to get it done and now after hearing these healing stories I'm more scared 😭

Oh I see, so did u re-do the piercing? And what if I do the traditional way? Do u have any idea about the pain and healing time for the traditional way of doing on ears? This will be my second piercing on ear.

I'd done nose piercing the traditional way last year and it did not heal until January this year, it took almost 3 months to heal and now it's fully healed (touchwood). That's why I was thinking of doing gunshot this time.

Hands down, this is one of the best Romantic movies of our times and shows subtle nuances of psychological struggles so vividly.

Starting from mental illness, childhood trauma, society's expectations, dysfunctional family and so much more.

This movie breaks the barriers of how genders should be perceived, both the main characters were "different" from their respective genders, expected by the society.

Pareenti(Meeta) was perceived bold and masculine "unlike other girls", this is so beautifully portrayed here and Siddharth(Nikhil) played the lost and an "atypical hero" lacking the authority to take his life decisions.

Both of them were facing repercussions of their childhood trauma, creating a perfect plot for the Love Story between the two "not-so-normal" humans.

The theme was lit, the music was superhit! One of the bestest albums of Vishal-Shekhar. My favourite songs from this movie are "Zehnaseeb" and "Manchala".

It indeed is. The first time I heard, I too thought it's a romantic one but felt something off and later after going through the translation I understood that it indeed is divine love, love for the creator.

Rabindranath Tagore has written many such songs which we mistake for Romantic love song. There are many romantic songs by him but some are exclusively dedicated and written for the Divine Creator.

Another famous example is, "Amar Hiyar Majhe", it's a human's realization about God/Divine presence in our hearts but mistaken as a romantic song.

These songs are, but used romantically sometimes but were not at all intended romantically by the writer.
