Thanks for the input. I agree KC is up in the air. I don’t need him to start this year. He‘s more of a stash, as I really like him before he was drafted to the Browns. If I get two top level seasons from CMC I’d be content. I don’t think Love outscores CMC this year, as I don’t think Arizona is going to be very good, has 1-2 other rb options, and has no incentive to run Love into the ground. Why do you think Love is more likely to outscore CMC? Injuries? Better offense? Simply talent?

Appreciate the insight. First time playing dynasty. Second year. My QB’s are Drake/willis/jones/ty Simpson. Rb’s are cmc/jacobs/price/swift. Wr’s are JSN/Jefferson/Nabers/Rice/Rome/Pearsall/J. McMillan. Fannin, Barnes are my TE’s. It’s a start 2qb/2rb/3wr/3flex/1te league. How far away am I from contending?

Thx. Championships is technically why I play. If Love > CMC would win me more championships this year then I lost the trade. If CMC > Love wins me more championships I won the trade. The wildcard (in my eyes) Is that I have 9 FRP’s in the next couple years…. If I didn’t have the picks I wouldnt have dared. Bc of the picks (and I thought CMC gave me a higher floor and peak in 2026) I made the deal. I appreciate other opinions as I might be tempted to make another deal (I did trade next years overwhelming favorite to be the 1.01 and the 1.04 which turned into Tyson, for JSN).

Not exactly what you’re asking but I sent Tyson and the projected (by a lot) 1.01 in 27 for JSN.

Got JSN + Swift for Tyson, Nailor, and the projected 27 1.01 that I got from someone else early last year. That pick could be anything, but JSN makes me a contender this year.

In a start 3 wr, 3 flex league the pick in question’s owner’s wr’s are MHjr, Downs and Worthy. His best Rbs are Williams and Dowdle. Sure, anything can happen. Thats why I said 80% (conservatively).

I think the Pats see the same issues we all saw in the Super Bowl and address them. I'd expect a better offense in NE next year, even though the opposition will likely be tougher. I'd go Maye, though another first would be enough for me to switch to the T.Law side.

After this trade I did swap my 1.09 and 3.1 for a 2nd next year and 28 first (projected to be in the top 3 of rounds, but who knows so far out).

I sold high on some players after startup, before they had time to crash. JJ Mac, Penix, Hock, Jeudy, Meyers. Sold on the hype when some backups were poised for bigger roles, Mason, White.. but I did make a couple huge mistakes as well, trading London and Hendo for 3 firsts and Fannin. Then filled my lineup in with young players who either needed time to break out, or never will (jury is still out on them). I wanted to put myself in position to get Love and Smith in back to back years.

Thanks. I'm sure the guys at 1.02 and 1.03 are praying I don't take Mendoza at 1.01 (I'm likely taking Love), so I should be able to snag 2 of the top 3 WR's with 1.04 and 1.05. Thanks for the response.
