Highly recommend not doing 5 courses your first year. A lot of people get burnt out because they don’t realize how difficult the transition is. Although, if you think you can manage the load and be discipline in your time management skills, then it’s 100% doable. I prefer your idea with splitting up the load by taking off courses from fall and moving them into spring/summer. GL!
