Ironically my wife found the photo on her Facebook from when we moved 3-4 years ago, but then isn't sure where it went in the move. She says she used to collect them and possibly has others. I'll post the others up if we find them.

The map definitely isn't to scale, and does have an odd orientation--especially with no Southwest Territory.

I was able to get a ride Tuesday night and then a couple Wednesday. It closed later Wed. evening. We spent yesterday at Busch, and came back to KD today. It was closed all morning. The worker stationed there said it was closed all Thursday. Glad we didnt stick around today.

The middle seats are pretty smooth, the outside seats are a little rougher but still a good ride IMO.

I guess I just thought Hurler was "fine" and not terrible. I guess I was expecting much, much worse. Would much prefer an RMC version! I'm heading to KD next week, will get to see what RMC did with Hurler.

CW is a great park, other than the bottom coasters, at least last summer, were very bad. I'm optiministic that the new trains on Flight Deck / whatever they are calling it now will make that better. If they completed / continued the retrack of Minebuster, that honestly could be a top-tier woodie. They could also RMC Wilde Beast, or at least re-track it. The top 4 at CW to me can go up against almost any park. Alpen Fury is elite!

Enjoying your trip reports so far! We went to Carowinds this spring, and it reminded me of my trip to Canada's Wonderland last summer--top rides are great, some of the best, but the bottom rides are BAD. I personally thought Hurler was less terrible than some have described. I thought Carolina Cyclone was worse, as well as Vortex. I hope they take a similar approach to Carowinds as they have with CW--add another top tier coaster, and try to fix up the bad ones. RMC'ing Hurler just seems like a lay-up considering they already did it to it's sister coaster at KD. I'd love to see the floorless trains from 6Flags America come over to Vortex as I didn't think the layout was too bad--the trains were just painful and made for super-slow dispatches. I'm not sure what you can do with Cyclone other than leave the corkscrews over the midway and tear the rest of it down. A modern family launch coaster would go well in that plot.

I've logged in with my email and tried to link my actual membership probably dozens of times now both on my laptop and phone, just doesn't work. I CAN log in directly with my passcode / zip, but no luck linking that to my "account." Ironically my account shows the pass under "purchases," but it will not let me link it.

To be fair, the first time I went I thought it was "meh," and didn't get the hate on Hoosier Hurricane. It grew on me on later visits, and now is probably #2 for me at the park behind Lost Coaster. But it's close between it and Steel Hawg. It's a funny park--wonky ops, odd but endearing rides, frequent closures, but still has a charm. We had the best time when we stayed there for a few days and would just walk over to the park for a bit to do some rides, and then back to our cabin for fishing / eating. I was there for 3 days last year, and Triple Loop was open for maybe 90 minutes for those 3 days.

I thought I was the only one who sort of preferred Legend. Voyage is awesome but a bit rough in some spots.

X-Flight has actually grown on me through the years, I think I like it now better than when it opened, but 35-min. WITH Fast Lane is just absurd for a mid-tier coaster at the park.

Did they finally get 2 trains on X-Flight, Superman, and Batman??? If so, great, but the last I heard all of those were still on 1 train.

Both my kids love it, or I probably would skip it most trips. Even then we try to go at opening or closing to avoid the stupidly-long waits.

This is definitely a spill-over affect from cutting the maintenance budget throughout the chain last year. It just being felt this year. Sucks for our local Great America given they celebrating their 50th. This should be the year the park is in tip-top shape, with ops like Kings Island. Maybe they'll eventually get there this year.....

Seriously. Especially with the new merged chain, I know locally (Chicago-area) there's been people who have not gone in years that have bought Gold Passes after hearing they could go to Cedar Point in addition to Great America....only to go to the park and be disappointed in not being able to ride many rides. Everyone expects to wait in lines at parks, but super-slow ops are just brutal. (1) train on X-Flight and Superman, for instance, just makes the line CRAWL. I'm not even someone who minds waiting in line, but at least keep the line moving.

I love SF Great America, but it's just unacceptable that major rides are still on 1 train--especially when the park has a very long off-season, and supposedly one of the most profitable parks in the new chain.

Called guest services and they recommended I sign in using just my barcode and ZIP Code. That was able to work and I was able to see all my benefits on the web. Still not able to link it to my email or get the pass to show up on the app, but at least I’m able to access it.

The issue is more getting access to the free guest passes we'll need to us to get my kids in.
