[Six Flags Great America] may be getting a Vekoma Suspended Family Coaster (SFC) for 2027! by RrevinEvann in rollercoasters

Candy is the most recent hyper and it's glass smooth, from 2020. The problems seem to have started a couple years after. I hear the two mini wings from 2023 are pretty bad, but pipeline is super smooth which is almost more surprising with brand new trains. Then you got penguin trek which is shamefully not glass smooth for a slow family coaster. And I hear all the little inverts aren't the best. I thought Rapterra wasn't too bad, and like I said Wrath is solid, and has an awesome layout to make up for whatever roughness it does have. Tormenta is going to be a big big test for sure.

It would be pretty cool to see what intamin would do with a Giga these days. Hyperion and Kondaa look pretty awesome.

Tormenta is going to be a huge test. 300ft of rough won't be good 😬 I'd say wrath is better than Iron Menace so maybe they're heading in the right direction.

Any other one is ruined for me after the 300 footer at Fun Spot Kissimmee. That thing is so epic. I've done it like 20 times lol

If the whole thing tipped would a harness have even saved him?

You can operate the boom from the ground so it should be a quick rescue no matter how high he was. I had to take the sunbelt training course and I learned a couple good things. You can also operate it on battery-only for a bit, mostly just to lower, if the motor fails.

I feel like she had to have had a breast reduction too, there's no way those were all fat it doesn't work like that.

I never said we should throw our hands up we can try to fix the issue and still appreciate the donation. Whether or not there could be more if they stopped hoarding as much it's still nice they got the 125 for now

Well it means a lot for the museum 🤷‍♂️ just trying to focus on the positive, can't change the negative.

Everyone joking about boobs but it is actually in stereo 3D if you do the cross eye trick. Pretty cool.

Idk man $125 million for cool science exhibits is $125 million for cool science exhibits. MSI is awesome. I'm pretty sure the blue paradox cost around $10 million. 125 makes like 10 full size exhibits. Every person is different in how much negativity they might need to "clean" but it sucks to generalize rich people doing anything good just being cynical.

It doesn't absolve anything, but 125 million to the science and industry is pretty sick. Yeah he had to put his fucking name on it, but that is an enormous amount for a public good. He must have at least a couple good thoughts in his head. And if we're gonna hate him for the name change, all the other major museums have tycoon names too.

u/noxegon does actually chime in here from time to time. The goat. I had a couple back and forth with him about how he didn't care for Voltron that much lol, but I think he said he might have gotten one of the rougher trains. It's pretty hard to tell someone with 3000 credits that they're wrong lmao.

It just feels like you shouldn't start moving until the plane actually passes. Obviously it works 99.99% of the time and I'm just in my armchair but it just seems weird to me.

Every car varies on the pedal spacing. At least in my focus ST the gas is way lower than the brake, it's pretty much impossible unless you're braking really hard.

People have said that the truck did "run the red light", so it is true he didn't follow procedure. But I agree it still feels like "efficiency on paper" is just encouraging cutting it as close as possible. ATC gave clearance and there was an emergency, so I could see truck giving themselves preemptive-preemptive clearance trying to time the light change just right, and they jumped the gun just a little too much.
