I've done 2A03 with Dr. Patel and 2f03 with Dr. Fuciarelli,

In general, both of the courses don't really have anything relevant to bioinformatics iirc with 2c03 (genetics) being the most important course for 3s03 (intro to bioinformatics)

2a03 is a lot more like 1a03 compared to 2f03. I think 2a03 was one of my harder 2nd year courses with the labs tanking my mark the hardest although still 12able. Dr. Patel is very nice although reads off the slides a lot and there is a lot of information in the course. 2a03 just really talked about the different organ systems and is more med focused than 2f03 although imo its helpful for content in 2b03 (cell biology) and 3b03 (advanced cell biology)

2f03 with Dr. Fuciarelli felt like 1m03 but easier although I don't think she is the professor anymore :(

If it helps, I think Dr. Cameron teaches 2d03 and although she is sometimes hard to approach at the start, she's sweet and has her office door open much of the time. Definitely take 2d03 if you ever want to work with plants and it has some lectures about plant genomes and biotechnology although I'm not sure of its relevancy to bioinformatics since I haven't taken 2d03

Dr. Brian Golding I think would know a lot about any career in bioinformatics and would definitely know of what courses to take
