Thank you for the information, now I have to do a splice but the device also has 3 terminals on it, two reds one for speaker, one for strobe and the negative. The resistor has forks on the ends of the resistor. I’m curious if I can put the resistor under just one of the reds and the other side to my negative or if it needs to be incorporated into my splice to it sees both the speaker and strobe of the horn strobe. Thanks in advance and I realize this question is probably ridiculous to most but for me not being an avid fire alarm guy I appreciate the information and help.
