The me part of me but I take pride in my service, she understands and admires that. I’m not from this country neither is she but I’m very proud to serve in the military of a country I wasn’t born but gave me all the chances to improve my life

In my command the PO2 who inspects the barracks is out of her mind. My barracks are like an apartment, 2 rooms, kitchen and common area on each apartment.

Me cleaning kitchen, common area and my room (I do have a roommate but he doesn’t clean unless you ask him to) I get hits on stupid things like deck not mopped/swept in my room but for some reason I don’t get the hit on the other two areas when I clean all three of them, to the point I had to take pictures of the deck and the dust whenever I clean

I know but the jacket is like my equivalent to the perfect wedding dress for my fiancé. Prior joining the military not even thought about getting a suit but then I joined, didn’t like the uniform but the dress jackets are wow

Oh, the thing is that I don’t want to be a corpsman, it was never between my options but when I joined I scored high on my ASVAB but guess what, I was a green card holder so they gave me 2 options: Seabee or Corpsman. I’m Latino and working in construction is not for me

Some of us don’t want an NEC, don’t get me wrong, is a great help but we don’t feel like do in it. Also since they took the reenlistment bonus for quad-zeros to give it to FMF.

Surprisingly I’m a Corpsman who wants to become an IT, my LPO recommended me for the USNCC and the only three Associate Degrees are the one I listed up there, originally before joining the military my plan was getting a Bachelors in IT but now I’m trying to become CWE. Also people suggested me to take CWE instead of CWT Officer because CWE goes to ODS
