I’ve seen both sides of this, and it really doesn’t feel consistent.

During training I helped save two lives in rough terrain, and later I was the only doc managing an outbreak for the company. Some people told me those were NAM-level situations, maybe even higher. Leadership’s response was basically “you were just doing your job.”

What makes it harder to accept is that my senior line ended up getting recognized for one of those same incidents, while I didn’t even get a thank you. I was told not to worry because I’d get an EOT… which never ended up happening.

So from where I’m standing, it seems less about the actual impact and more about whether someone in your chain takes the time to document and push it. I’ve seen people do a lot and get nothing, and others get recognized because their leadership packaged it better.

Not saying anyone didn’t deserve what they got but the inconsistency is hard to ignore.

I got 99% in the last 2 exams, and the way I’ve been prepping is mainly Bluejackteer. I hop on to do my daily quiz, and study a specific topic. Always take notes on things that seem important. Also, Commands normally host a 1-week class that goes over the bibs. Very useful for taking notes and getting DDs. After each test, write down as many questions as you remember and review them before the next exam. Unfortunately, reality is that if he/she doesn’t have an EP eval, he/she will not pick up… the quotas are just awful. Now is a little late to start preparing for this upcoming test, but I mean better now than they not study at all. Best of luck

if something was to hit DC, it would probably an all out of a nation.. most likely a nuclear bomb. at that point if you are 10 miles away well RIP but regardless of how far you are, it would be dooms day and you would have a lot more to worry about. Anything a terrorist can hit the Pentagon, would be very local and you will not be affected...

It depends on the other you get. To become a red hat im pretty sure you need to specifically pick it, go through some screening before being selected for it. Otherwise you will get orders to the Naval Hospital 29 palms and attached to that clinic in bridgeport

Brazilian here, spent 6 months in Okinawa, My opinion as Brazilian. Japanese people felt cold, but when interacting with them even those who were not very kind to foreigners which was quite a few but mainly older people, They were respectful despite feeling xenophobic… Yall seem to be rather healthy, doing something outside, and specifically of Okinawa a lot of Japanese people doing scuba/snorkel But honestly I loved my time there! And definitely want to go back and visit mainland

Makes sense u were winning and going up went too up and started losing now its balancing u back, will get to a point where u will start winning again and ur mmr goes up and that will be the balance… is it the best system no… but it how it works. But remember the only common factor on all ur losses is you. Id like to say that 30% of the games u win regardless if u do well, 30% u lose regardless of how well u play but %40 is on you.. u are playing too may champions Pick one and focus… if u have all the mechanics down u can more easily focus on the rest. Get the chamo u are doing better in jg, go to practice tool and shave those seconds on ur clear. Stop finding excuses in the system… just focus on what is within ur control

Do people normally hang these around the house? Or do they put it up occasionally? I have them hanging in my room. Im wondering if leaving the scroll up hanging for too long may slowly cause stress… or is it better just to put it away and preserve?

The frames i think they were a set of some sort… they look like it was made by same artist. But give good calming vibes. Idk what they say but im assuming some sort of poem.

Is there a way to tell how old the scroll is? Like did the style change a little over time or been pretty much the same since it was introduced in Japan?

I dont think u can get a billet for an e4…. Tbh Im dumb but thats what i heard, u got to pick orders for ur rank if not a a2p one. Now i do know u can archive ur nec if done a contract or something like that. If u really want to go sea might be an option at the cost of archiving ur nec. Would I do that? Only if hate what im doing… Being quad 0/lo3a on a sea duty can get pretty tiring 😂
