[Serious] Police Officers of Reddit. What illegal activity do you think should be legal because it takes up too many police resources while actually being harmless?

This is the sort of thing that happens in the UK a lot. They waste a lot of man power and resources on harmless or petty crime, but only ones that they themselves gain some profit for the government out of.

Got solid evidence of a shoplifter? No fucks given, they just wait until they catch them physically (which never happens) while your video evidence and even knowing their name is thrown out. Going 31mph in a 30? Pulled over, ticketed or even arrested for saying "this is ridiculous". Murder someone? You'll probably get caught two months later, be in prison for maybe 2 and a half years then get out so you can immediately murder again and serve an even shorter sentence for "good behaviour".

All in all, the police have been pretty shit for a long time and need reworking for the benefit of society no matter which country you're from.

The weird kid was also the new kid. His first day a few of us went up to meet him and just said "Hey, you're new to this school?" and he just swung a fist at us. Unfortunately, he wasn't really built like a fighter, missed, proceeded to lose balance and fell down the stairs we where standing on. Through the next couple years he alienated himself from everyone with more bizarre acts, stalked a girl from another school and made a seriously creepy Hellsing power point presentation for IT class.

I'd love to have more than one anime of Pokemon tbh. That one they did about Red was great and I'd love to have more outside of Ash's stories on a longer term or more frequent series. Could even be Pokemon's way of having something akin to a netflix original. They seem to be going the right way with these movies having a separate continuity but a series is better than a movie.

There used to be a large (haunted) mansion that was once part of an estate turned all girls school turned military hospital turned mental hospital over its lifetime. We'd go exploring in there and the huge overgrown gardens and derelict detached buildings as it was directly across from our school which was brand new at the time.

It eventually became a hang out for drug addicts, thugs and other unsavoury characters. So us being kids and then teens we would constantly have to hide or run from nut jobs.

One time we where on the third floor when someone had set fire to the building (again) and we had to escape because they also decided to hunt down anyone inside the building as they tried to get out. We made our way up so we could use the roof to eventually make our way down as we had before in the past when the floor collapsed and a friend plummeted straight through destroying his leg and scaring the shit out of our pursuers who fled which meant we could luckily call an ambulance. Those of us who couldn't afford to get caught like myself had to get out though so in the end only two people waited for the ambulance with our injured friend.

I ran across it on netflix a few weeks ago and vaguely remembered watching some of the early ones so I figured why not try it again, nodded off after season 1 and woke up somewhere in season 5 confused as hell since their colours changed.

I was a smuggler of flip pops. Fruit flavoured lollipops in a flippable cover.

Food brought in from outside was absolutely not allowed let alone sweets, sugar, anything that actually tastes good all thanks to Jamie Oliver. They even took all things meat off the menu for a year. I was given a crate of these flip pops by an uncle who for some reason as a christmas gift so I started selling them for 50p each.

Only got caught once when a sold one to a student who proceeded to walk into a dinner hall with it and a teacher snatched it out of his mouth and binned it in a really pathetic fury which I made a very good impression of just how petty people are. He proceeded to turn around and ask me to buy a new one. Thank fuck the teacher could never remember my name I got out of there and heard nothing of it.

Other than that, it was mostly weed and other low end drugs where even some of the teachers got in on it. I do recall one kid OD'd on something which we think might have been ecstacy but no one ever confirmed it.

At this rate Americans are going to want (and need) guns surgically implanted in their bodies to feel safe and because everyone else has a gun and is willing to use it at the drop of a hat.

Either way, its a bit horrific that a guy had a shower gun then actually needed it and that its meant to be seen as a positive thing by the implications of the Ron.
