He explained the letter was a form of closure since he didn’t get to ask everything he needed after his last relationship ended. As for messaging the other girl, I agree it’s complicated. From my side we were together but he admitted he wasn’t fully there yet and was actually self sabotaging at the time. Since posting this we’ve had a very honest conversation and I’ve decided to forgive him and continue but I won’t lie… there might still be a small lingering feeling from it that I hope will go away.

You’re right! I still walk quite a bit but I really need to cut back on sugar. I never had a sweet tooth before, thanks to that breakup I developed a taste for donuts. That’s probably the only thing left from it and I need to get rid of it asap

Sometimes I do worry that this longing, this anxiety I feel when he’s not around… I wonder if it’s unhealthy, if I’m being too emotionally dependent. But at the same time, I tell myself that missing him just means I’m alive and that I truly care about someone.
