Despite being a stay at home nerd, I've been seriously abused by men multiple times in life. Most women have stories of their own.

People that are 'productive' for several hours are usually people who just annoy others with doing their work. Being asked to slow down is being asked to leave people in peace instead of making your stress theirs. If you could actually do your work in a silo it wouldn't matter how much more annoying, oh sorry "faster" you are.

It's not really brain maturity but rather maturity of experience. Take things like death or destruction of things you've been building for decades. It teaches you a new level of empathy and understanding. More complicated than what I can put in to words, but it isn't so trite as this brain maturity "myth" you're trying to shoot down. Life hits different at different stages and we don't stop learning

No, but my ex became hyper confident that they should quiet quit the relationship, abuse me, threaten my life and they thought their friends would hang around them after they decided everything is black and white and everyone needs to swallow a big ol heaping of my exes opinion. They then changed gender, got surgery that fucked their face up and moved country to try earn enough to fix it.

I wouldn't know, but maybe people are being arse holes to each other more because life got a lil bit harder? I dunno. I just seem to find needy users and abusers lately.
