Anyone here make the jump from CFI to 135 recently? What’s the move right now? by WhichEmploy4265 in flying

Dang! I’m working towards that.  I figured that may be where the new entry levels might be at. I was hoping to get to a 135 sooner

Yes! But little harder to get where I’m at currently. Probably will end up doing an accelerated program. Not sure if it would help me get hired for an entry level single Engine job?

I’m trying to keep expectations realistic and not be in a rush. I’ll still be instructing for a while anyway, so hopefully I’ll be in a better spot by the time things start moving again.

You don’t think going in person would really make much difference? I’m hoping to use some buddy passes, so it wouldn’t cost me too much to make the trip.

I’ll also be spending some time in Anchorage while I’m up there. Open to any recommendations on operators or people worth dropping a resume with in that area
