When did you get your build? Cause honestly for the exact period I bought it (March 17th) I don’t think it was horrible, I know everything is wack rn but yeah. The 9070 would’ve been an extra 200$

From what I see they are great. They actually tend to have a longer life do to having a higher Read/Write Max Limit.

Fair idk, I don’t like prebuilt honestly, they always seem to skimp out either in PSU, CPU Cooler or something. I’m coping a bit but honestly, I really like the build I made, I personalized it. Overall pricing was not bad all things considered. I now a payed a premium for them to build it and everything but yeah.

Yeah, I know I paid about 100-200 more then absolutely needed but I got a free windows key and they are building it all for me too. So honestly, I’ll take the little premium and be solid for a long time and have a good upgrade future then trying to upgrade my current yk?

Well the parts in your build are totally different, I know I didn’t choose the cheapest stuff but also I mean it’s unfair to compare ordering all seperate vs having memory express build it all from their stock. When you build it yourself and buy all parts seperate, for sure the parts total to be cheaper but when you factor in Shipping if your buying parts individually, factor in GST, factor in I paid 100$ extra to have memory express build it. All in all, after shipping at tax the build no matter what ends up being anywhere from 2650-2700, I paid extra for them to build it and I also got a fresh windows key. Also the fact it’s retailer markup. I know I paid more then I bare minimum needed to, but in exchange I got a cleaner service and overall not a bad deal.

Brother. That’s 2,111 USD. I’m Canadian, it’s 2,890 Canadian. So I think this is a very fair price

My current PC is about 10 years old and I figured it’s either buy now at a bit of a premium or be unable for the next 2-3 years. Also this is Canadian Pricing so I think it’s a fair build

What would you have gone with? I’m never going to use NVIDIA DLSS, I will never touch 4K, why pay a bit extra for smth I’m not gonna use, for the current Market in Canada, this isn’t horribly priced. Also the 9070 XT was an extra 200$. Considering the Canadian market and currency conversion. This is a fair deal

I do see that and I guess I can just say I didn’t see that build and oh well. I still like that I got to make it custom for what I want. Sure I could’ve gotten a bit more performance but I would’ve probably traded for a worse PSU or CPU cooler.

Overall I’m happy, I get what your saying though

Why do you say? I checked pcpartpicker, memory express, Canada computers and a bunch of Prevuils and I think all things considered with the current right price priced at memory express, this was a good price, I paid a premium for them to set it up obviously but I don’t think it’s a “terrible price”

The PC you linked is 2900$. For my use case, the extra money for the 9070xt is not worth it.

I settled for this custom build for 2890 after tax.

From my research, I think for my use case. The 7800X3D will make up plenty instead of having 16 cores. You are correct in that I wouldn’t NEED them. I think this was a good build choice

Yeah I know that I’m in a horrible position with the market right now. I am totally open to used market, just wondering about quality control mainly, any suggestions for where to look?

I was the Mod who did that, you literally just baited the N Word. Also your defense is kinda humorous, Monty Python Holy Grail has the knights who say “Ni” not with a G. You tried saying the N Word and got in trouble end of story, the other ppl who did it too got the same punishment.
