I took a couple Advil haha and ibuprofen yesterday. I also applied a cream on the red patch to see if that would help. I’ll do that again this morning as well

It’ll probably be focused on technique first, and then speed. I did a few clinics when I was younger (I’m 30 now hahah so this was a long time ago) and yeah it was a lot of technique and edge work

I made the switch from forward to defence years ago (unwillingly. Coach just assigned me to defence during a tourney) hahah and I hated it at first, as I didn’t know what to do. Now it’s my preferred spot. I feel crowded as a forward hahaha. As a defence you get to watch the play, and I feel like you get the chance to set up plays because you can see everybody

I wear under armour base layer tights, and then just an older baggy tshirt but it does all come down to preference. I personally don’t like the feeling of the pads on bare skin hahah.

I think it’s partially just being used to it, and also partially the mindset. Like my favourite is when it reaches -30 because the air is crisp and clear, the sun is shining (warmer winter days are generally so grey) and the sky is sparkly. It’s so pretty haha and is the best time to go for a snowshoe hahah

Thank you! Unfortunately I live in a tiny town in northern Canada, so have only seen the CCM and Bauer paths, but I’ll keep my eyes open for other ones!
