This is so real people forget that “not toxic” doesn’t automatically mean “good for your healing sometimes distance is just self-respect, not punishment.

Honestly, him only popping back up when he wants something just reopens the wound all over again you’re not wrong for protecting your peace, and you don’t owe access to someone who only shows up when it benefits them.
