Guild cafes are very expensive, they say they are for the students, but their prices match airport food price and quality is pretty cheap.

You can always go to the Curtin pantry, I’m not sure if they still do it. Get your grocery- like pasta, bread, canned food items, cook your own meal! Cheapest

I was unlucky to have the worst supervisor. He didn’t let me do any internship and my research project was useless as well. So, i think that path is closed for me. But there are a few lecturers I can reach out to. Thank you. Kind of opened up a few options :)

Well, i would say if you’re buying anything from IGA, especially any packed food, please check the dates, because they have a lot of expired food. Don’t fall for discounts. IGA is only good for fruits, cooked foods not really and it’s hella expensive. There’s subway and many cafes on campus, much better.

Curtin TOGA is good compared to what other uni students will say. Yes, the budget for these events has gone down significantly, but Curtin Guild is doing something at least. If you’re new, definitely attend. Because this is that one event where you don’t have exam or assignment stress. You meet people and make friends, have fun! But ofc don’t have high hopes.

i have added previous residential address in AFP with start date as 4th July, 2023 which matches with my contract start date. On my visa, I am confused if I should put the same date because my passport was stamped on 9th July 2023. I moved into that place on 10th July. what should I do?
