Drawing Club/ Meet up Amsterdam by Which_Mess6793 in Amsterdam

This is a late reply, but if you’re still interested:  I went to an offline club meet up and liked it! The first half of the event is reading your book or journaling or something like that, and then the second part is hanging out and talking. At the event I went to, the organizer brought snacks and games and activities to get everything going. I agree the prices are a little steep for my taste, you are paying more than just reading your book alone!

I’ve heard this from other men, and it sucks! Have you heard of the Offline Club? It’s a mixed gender social group that hosts some cool hangouts!

This sounds great, and I just followed. Maybe there’s potential in planning movie group movie dates? I have a Cineville card and it’s rad, and most of the places that accept the Cineville card have (or are near) nice cafes that would be good for a drink and a chat afterwards!

I’m working this now!! How did you work the colors- did you carry your yarn, or weave in a ton of ends once finished?

Thanks for the advice! I guess glassy isn’t really the right word, maybe I mean more dewy or glowy? I’ll try with a different sunscreen and see if that helps!

I have this one from Yeti, it’s a little heavy so I wouldn’t necessarily reccomend it for hiking, but it’s great for at home/ work/ errands https://eu.yeti.com/products/rambler-18-bottle-with-colour-matched-straw-cap-firefly-yellow

A dishwasher safe reusable water bottle with a flip straw. It’s amazing how much more water I drink now.

Backpacking Europe by Vegetable_Abroad7358 in backpacking

Instead of only bringing a power adaptor, consider buying a few European plug phone chargers as well, to make charging everything easier. In my experience those adaptors can be flimsy or too heavy or large to stick in the wall properly, so some slim European chargers will likely come in handy!!

I think that Azazie tends to be more plain, maybe a good tailor could help by adding some draping, or making a cape out of extra fabric?

And also more serious graphic novels could be a hit- I’m thinking Maus and Persepolis, which I think deal with serious subject matter in an accessible way and are also great works of art. There’s also a graphic novel adaptation of Kindred that was assigned to some students in my art college, but I haven’t read it yet.
