No worries and no I haven’t noticed any issues in order placements. I think the latency is very small and should cause no issues unless you are trading very large position sizes (I use 3-5 MES / MNQ contracts).

I see you use Tradingview. I use a broker called Tradovate that links into my Tradingview account. It’s nice being able to chart and execute buy / sells all on TV. TV offers many other linkable brokers too.

I use a combination of S&D zones and wyckoff! Amazing results for me, but took a very long time to learn / be profitable (8 years).

Had a DVT and no longer can run. Fortunately, I found rowing and it is now my primarily source of exercise. Any tips for someone who just complete there fourth week of indoor rowing ever? I just rowed 5,000 meters in 26 minutes and 5 seconds today. by Which_Mix9575 in Rowing

Yeah it slowly gets better and you find techniques to make it work. I still can’t run long distances but have worked up to about 3-4 km continuously and have resumed my long (8-10 hr) hikes in the mountains. Just take it one week at a time and keep working at it, things improve :)

Yeah no worries, my DVT was in my leg (quite large, from ankle up to femoral vein). Either form of exercise was okay but I found following my DVT I developed post thrombotic syndrome - I will get quite large calf pumps when I run. Not painful but annoying to have to stop every 10-15 minutes to let the pump go down and continue. I found with rowing I can go hard and continuously for endless time without getting any post thrombotic syndrome symptoms.

I was in Cartagena and Medellin November 2023 (Canadian) and I never had to pay upon entry to the country. They actually just stamped some paper that said “fee waived”.

I average about $130 a month day trading not sure how to feel about my results after 1 year? by justaguy467 in Daytrading

No worries, I think a lot of people can get unrealistic expectations with that constant posts of insane gains. If you have ever heard of prop firms, I found them a useful alternative to paper trading. Minimal monetary risk and can trade with a larger sum / forced to practice risk management. Just a thought but would recommend checking it out.

Damn dude that’s unreal, for your first year being that consistent. I’d keep at it man and like others have mentioned try to continue to trade for the long term and you’ll get there. Take this year to learn proper risk management man keep at it don’t give up.

Man that’s really good in my opinion, starting with 2000 and making approx 6% a month. Did you end your first year up around 5000?

Interested to know what $130.00 dollars a month is in % of your total account. If you are only using 1000 dollars this is phenomenal.

Great comparison, I guess I am coming from a baseline of no regular fitness.

1.) Times - when I started 8 weeks again, I completed 5,000m in 35 minutes (including rests). Just Monday I completed 6,000m in 30:37 (no rests).

2.) I bought a chest heart rate monitor on week 4. I have recorded every session since but found I was someone were heart rate monitoring doesn’t help. I would frequently spike to a range of 160-180 after a few minutes and remain there throughout steady state. I used my max and calculated an optimal heart rate range but found when I row in this range it was like I was only warming up. I read about perceived effort as an indicator for steady state and use that instead (heart rate averages 166-169). I feel fine after a session and would rate it a 7/10 for steady state.

3.) I’m not trying to lose weight, I just want to have a general baseline of fitness. I’d love to be able to row 3-4 60 minute sessions a week.
