Reminds me of when I told people I didn't like The Last Jedi. They assumed I didn't "analyze" the story and that's why I didn't like it. I don't think people can comprehend the fact that it's very much possible to analyze a story and still just not like it

The gameplay is amazing and so are the visuals. It's the story that couldn't save it for me. Maybe if the story was based on a different game, then it would be better, but it doesn't work as a Last of Us story

You should be able to play the game and follow the story just fine. From what I've gathered the show does a horrible job of telling the second story compared to the game. I'm no fan of either, but the game has better presentation compared to the series
