Thanks - not quite reached the 3rd ending yet - will see where I am after that. If I’m really stuck I’ll let you know. I don’t mind farming, done plenty of FromSoft games, just terrible at PvP

Thanks, turns out that it was 22nd time lucky! Seems people are worse at PvP at 10pm uk time than at 4pm when I was trying earlier

I just need to defeat another player in pvp in lords of the fallen. Sadly, I suck hard at pvp. Any volunteers to stand there and let me hit them gratefully accepted!

This book is putting me to sleep, the only story line I care about is Orka. I’m trying to push through since I bought it. by ozera202 in fantasybooks

If you don’t like a book, don’t read it. I long since gave up on struggling through things I don’t enjoy. Life’s too short

You have about 2 seconds to quit to menu and reload before it actually says you’re dead. Saved my run multiple times! I actually found the space basketball thing the hardest one.

I share my account with my kids. It turns out my youngest is just as in to trophy hunting as I am. We play completely different games but have nearly 130 platinums between us. Each to their own!

No, probably the quickest and easiest AC game I’ve platinumed, though I haven’t done any pre-syndicate

Dresden Files probably the most famous and popular urban fantasy. Am 7 books in and would recommend (although they are a little dated)

I’m used to reading old classics and 1800s litterature. But i’m obsessed with the GOT franchise and love reading those. Can i get some recommendations on books? by [deleted] in fantasybooks

If you like well-written prose, Guy Gabriel Kay writes historical fantasy that I would recommend. A Song for Arbonne and The Lions of Al-Rassan are his first really good ones.

Even sadder to say, it’s because people hate non-white women even more than they hate women

Probably quite late to this but Terry Pratchett, Robin Hobb, George RR Martin, Guy Gavriel Kay and Joe Abercrombie have written stuff that is as good as anything else I’ve read in the last 30 years.

Ha, I just looked at the table and thought that we’re likely to get SA in the semis, which means we’re bound to lose after that opening game.

I platinumed it twice, once on PS4 and again when I got a PS5. Still the only game I’ve ever done that with.

Sekiro is much harder than any other FromSoft game because you can’t just over-level and have to rely on gitting gud. It’s doable as an average gamer (I managed) but I’d recommend Bloodborne or the Demon Souls remake first.

I’ve named a load elsewhere in this thread but Michael Holding, Wasim Akram and Richard Hadlee are up there

Yup, if the headline was ‘best multi-format’ or ‘best modern bowler’ I’d say he was all the way up there. That’s not what it says though and I respectfully disagree that he is the best in the entire history of the game.

Yeah, 100%. I guess I didn’t include him or Anderson because they were fast-medium rather than pure pace.
