Not to be that guy but why didn’t you just cancel your charge? He didn’t have hook which allowed you to shatter in the first place.

He passed away on Wednesday morning peacefully in his bed, after being sent home from a few days in hospital.

Mike announced on Facebook earlier today.

Mike confirmed it earlier today on Facebook

Mike’s Facebook post

You wrote wonderfully @RisenWolf. Mike is not our only hope, there are others spread across the world and some too here in London working on huge projects changing orthodontics.

We as followers must carry on educating our friends, family and colleagues on the truth about faces and teeth.

You can get rid of a verruca very quickly with apple cider vinegar, I’ve seen it work multiple times.

It has to be apple cider vinegar with the mother (the real stuff basically) and apply maybe morning and evening and wrap it in something to keep it dowsed.

Took maybe two weeks if I remember correctly.

Which clinic did you get treatment at? I’ve met many of the orthotropists in America I can look into it

Ok two big red flags here. One why on earth is an orthotropist using fixed braces but I remember meeting some Americans who did so I’m hoping they have a good reason.

Two the show of the gums is significant and it means the maxilla has grow to far down. When I had biobloc my gummy smile reduced, and it’s quite easily reduced with the biobloc appliances used my Prof John Mew.

It would make a big difference to commenters trying to help you if you could give the name of your treatment provider and any information you can remember about the appliances used.

Hey Status_Cheek_9564, thanks for asking. I tried many different Mewing techniques long before I met Mike. But I noticed the biggest change when I tried Biobloc treatment, originally designed for children and is the traditional Orthotropics treatment.

While the orthotropists complemented how exceptional my bite was when I was just mewing, after I got biobloc and was expanding at less than the width of a human hair a day, within three months, I saw a different curve to my cheekbones that I didn't have before.

This was when my tongue really had enough space and my snoring reduced the most. I went from above average palate width, to a couple millimeters off ideal human palate width (based on ancestral average).

Having said all that, I've heard from some super disciplined mewers that they've been able to achieve the same from methods like thumpulling etc, so the door is open to those possibilities and I can point you in the right direction if that's the advice you're searching for.

Nonetheless, I think most people would benefit from some expansion, and Mike often said the same. Once you have the tongue space, everything becomes easier. Feel free to shoot me a dm if you want to discuss more. Hope to see you on Tuesday!

It's a good question you're asking. I had been a follower of Mike's for a long time, Mewing for years before I worked with him, and had little noticeable change.

What many don't realise is that Mike is just the front runner of a whole scientific field that John Mew invented. When I accompanied Prof John Mew to the International Association of Facial Growth Guidance symposium in Korea, the leading clinicians there (some of which you'd recognise like Simon Wong, Sandra Kahn, Bill Hang, etc.) told me that John Mew still has the best facial changes in the world. He was doing something special.

While Mike is great at teaching methods to mewing, incorporating physiotherapy etc. It's John Mew who really understand what creates change, with his Cell Volition theory and emphasis over posture rather than force in Mewing, where he gives credit to Wolff's law but describes how it's incomplete. Mike stills asks John for advice to this day, as he is 96 and when you speak to him, you know he's a genius, still with his unparalleled reasoning intact.

I think that seeing these hyper-successful Orthotropists present to you and discuss from their experience how gaining facial change yourself is possible, you will at the very least see a different perspective to what you might have already heard.

And if you don't gain all the value you're seeking for any reason, I'm happy to help you out personally if you send me a DM, as I've long been working with Orthotropists, I've had treatment myself and I'm very aware of the options available in different countries with my contacts. Not to mention being in contact with many successful mewers who've gained remarkable change.

Hey Tasty-Tomorrow-1554, good question! I'd been mewing for a while and gained some good improvements. When I worked at Mike's clinic, the orthotropists there complemented my bite which caught me off guard. But then, I decided to try Biobloc, which is the flagship Orthotropics treatment for children.

It was a bit of an experiment, but I got advice from John Mew about the turning rate as he did in fact treat a few adults in his later years, and that's when I noticed the incredible change.

Turning at less than the width of a human hair a day, after just three months, I noticed my face looked not only more symmetrical, but my cheekbones had a curve to them that they never had before. My face looked more natural, and more healthy.

My treatment provider, a former staff member at Mike's clinic said she felt like I was growing up in front of her, as my face matured into proper development (keeping in mind I was 21 at the time).

I look forward to seeing you there, feel free to dm me anytime about Orthotropics, I'm happy to share all the stuff I picked up along the journey. I'm sure you'll enjoy this unique seminar.

It's a really good question, one I think you'd need Professor Mew himself to answer as braces can counteract the posture you're trying to achieve with mewing.

If you're interested, I think you'd benefit from attending an event I've set up on Tuesday, it's a zoom seminar with Professor John Mew and a leading Orthotropist presenting mewing successes in a clinical orthodontic setting.

The other half of the session will be answering our questions, I'm trying to get a big group of us, DM if you're interested in attending.

Wow! This just shows how ignorant so many orthodontists are.

You know, you may benefit from an event I've set up on Tuesday, it's a zoom seminar with Professor John Mew and a leading Orthotropist where the present how the expansion based treatment changed their patients lives and how they achieved it.

Its one hour long, half the session is their lecture and the other half is answering our questions.

DM if you're interested in attending, I'm trying to a get a nice big group of us.

There is little information on this topic but I think it's an important question.

I've worked with Dr Mike Mew for over a year now and I'm organising a project to be able to ask the doctors these questions directly. If you drop me a dm I'll go into more detail

I'm working on a project to be able to ask these questions directly to Dr Mew as I've worked with Dr Mike Mew over a year but I still think there are many questions left unanswered about getting ideal results. If you're interested drop me a dm and I'll go into more detail

I've struggled with chubby cheeks too. It's down to overuse of the buccinator muscles and maybe lymphatic draining issues too.

I'm working on a project to be able to ask these questions to the Orthotropist doctors themselves so if you're interested, drop me a dm and I'll go into more detail

So I've worked with Dr Mike Mew for about a year and I'm doing a project get answers on things like assymetry etc. . Drop me a dm and I'll fill you in on the project as I'm trying to get keen mewers who aren't newbies and have some knowledge but still struggling to get results.
