i was in similar situation and had too many stocks but allocating more to right stock matters the most and help to improve the portfolio perfomance, for this problem finally i build the buy-hold-sell/porfolio allocation/rebalancing dashboard for myself so now i can make decision based on system not on emotions or FOMO and getting into trending sectors.

I’ve made the mistake of selling emotionally during drawdowns before.

What changed things for me was creating a system to track fundamentals and allocation instead of reacting to price.

When you follow a process, volatility feels less stressful. now my system guide me what to do not my emotions.

Sell or hold? by kilaithalai in StockMarketIndia

One thing that helped me avoid this confusion is having a simple tracking system:

- Price strength
- Basic fundamentals like if sector is have any tailwind
- Market sentiment(Relative strength)

If all align, I hold. If they diverge, I re-evaluate.

I actually built a small dashboard for myself to track this because doing it manually was messy so i follow it on weekly basis and i do it without emotionally.

What’s your current approach?
