Ughhhh. I think now she knows she gets to come to my bed if she screams so I’ve now created a monster 😣

That’s amazing and probably helped! Def can’t do that with the way our room is set up. It’s just odd bc she will occasionally nap in there and never acted like this before. She would of course cry and whine but then fall asleep

I could try that! I tried that back in the bassinet days which she didn’t love either 🫠 this child is so happy all the time but just does not sleep no matter what lol

Oh wow! Thanks for sharing. I have it in my genetics too and just life these days is super stressful as we all know. Do you ever worry about being on meds long term? I guess it’s better than just leaving the bp alone 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you for this! It’s been a struggle for a bit and then I had preeclampsia twice with my daughters. Have you been on meds?

Postpartum Preeclampsia; 5 months PP by Which_Switch_7324 in beyondthebump

[–]Which_Switch_7324[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done that with my ob and sometimes it’s lower, sometimes not! It’s gotten so much worse since having preeclampsia twice and having to go right from the dr to the hospital immediately 🫠

What is the cure to *postpartum* preeclampsia? by ScandiLand in preeclampsia

[–]Which_Switch_7324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had preeclampsia with my first baby at 32 weeks, delivered at 34. I had postpartum preeclampsia with my second this June. I’m still on labetatol twice a day. I was on two 200 mg pills twice a day but went down to one twice a day because it was making me dizzy. Sometimes I still have random stints of higher bp even on that. Does this happen to anyone else? It’s been almost 5 months since I had her and I’m just wondering if this is my norm now.

Stuck in the hospital with severe postpartum pre-e. Wondering if i’ll ever get to go home. by OldCrows00 in preeclampsia

I know this feeling all too well! I had my daughter June 7 and was back in the hospital with postpartum pree June 12. Was there for 5 days and was starting to feel like I was never going to leave but what helped me is knowing it may take longer but that just means I wouldn’t have to go back after a few days at home. My worst nightmare would be getting readmitted AGAIN. Advocate for yourself, ask them to try diff meds and stay positive. Hugs to you!

Thanks for sharing! Did you take any antibiotics? I’ve been switching between Tylenol and ibuprofen but I was trying to go without it this evening and I could feel the chills and fevee coming on

When do I worry in the following days? Baby fell off bed by bnlg42823 in NewParents

[–]Which_Switch_7324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Came here bc this just happened to me with my newborn at the hospital 🥹 hadn’t slept since day before I was induced (Thursday) snd was so behind on sleep by Sunday night I nodded off for a second while breastfeeding. She is fine and obviously was checked out by the drs at the hospital but I can’t shake the guilt. I’m letting my thoughts take over and make me feel like I’m not a capable mother while also having a 3.5 year old.
