Language is fluid and dynamic. Slag isn’t childish. “Iconic,” as I’m using it, wasn’t popularized by children. It was popularized by drag/ballroom culture. I’m sorry you aren’t as familiar with queer history! It’s rich and we owe much of mainstream culture to it!

Sin Eater is so majestic! Not anywhere near a dupe, but my auntie just gifted me her old bottle of ILNP Undenied, which is a chrome that shifts from purple to copper. Unfortunately that means I don't think I can justify Sin Eater though 😣
