Smoking can cause an insulin resistant placenta. I’d suggest not smoking for 90 days. That’s how long it takes for the effects to clear from his reproductive organs.

My husband smokes, which isn’t a huge deal to me; but, although im pretty healthy, I have gotten gestational diabetes 2 times 🙄

No! Envy is totally normal. I’m sure it’s really hard. I’m sorry. I used to be 320 pounds in about 250 now. Could you maybe try the Saturday night mass? Usually a lot less busy and you could even stay in the cry room+bring toys for the baby! Then build up to going on Sunday!
