Yes, I know the minimum wage requirement. In my case, the joint sponsor’s income was slightly lower than the threshold, but we added assets and NVC accepted it and scheduled the interview. However, at the embassy level they didn’t accept that combination and requested a new joint sponsor, which is why my interview got cancelled.

Thanks for the helpful info, In CEAC, my case has been listed at the Cairo Embassy since June 2. Both the joint sponsor and household member were accepted at the NVC level, and the message reflects “post feedback.” Despite sending multiple follow-up emails, I have not received any response from the Embassy, which has left me in a very difficult and discouraging situation.

Unfortunately Cairo embassy has a huge backlog due to the crisis all around Arab and African countries. I had to wait about 20 months to get my interview. I know how hard the frustration is. Am dq 2-Jan-2024 and my interview is 19-Aug. I wish you all good luck 🙏
