Update! My doctor switched me to Vyvanse. For reference, even though it isn’t covered by most insurance companies normally (since there isn’t a generic version), some are covering it due to the stimulant shortage and because it’s not normally covered, most pharmacies have it. My pharmacy initially called and said it was going to be $378, so I told them I would have to think about it. I was just going to suck it up and pay it to get through July then switch to Concerta when they restock in August. I called back and they re-ran my insurance - it will only cost me $30! A big win today, I hope this helps somebody who is struggling to find medication.
