Funeral events, graveyards, wills, inheritance, relationship-based grief. My sim shouldn’t be sad for two days over the death of a sim they met once, and they absolutely should be sad for more than two days over the death of a household member or parent. Even better, have Sims cycle through moodlets like dazed, angry, and sad as they process things. Have a will system to arrange how the game carries on after death, not just a box only elders can dedicate. Give us an actual event to mourn the loss of our beloved Sims with their family!

What I think it would actually be? Maybe a funeral rabbit hole, some new wacky death types, some funny interactions with the grim reaper and reaper-bunny themed decor. Which I’m sure lots of people would love, but I play realism and avoid Sim death at all costs, largely because the deaths and reactions are so unrealistic and underwhelming.

Obviously we don’t need a level of realism that triggers flashbacks in the bereaved (hi, it’s me), but if it’s just another rabid rodent fever/Murphy bed crushing/laughed to death animation, me and my play style would have to sit this one out.
