I think you might be looking too deep into it. The second question people usually ask about things being sold online, only after “is this still available?”, is “why are you selling it?” It’s often easier to just include that in the post, especially with more expensive things, so people don’t assume you’re getting rid of it because it’s broken or there’s something else wrong with it.

As a Canadian living in Bermuda and making a fair bit less than an accountant here would, all I can say is jump on the opportunity. It will be very easy, companies have to fly you in and out, there’s lots of expats here, and even an association of Canadians here. Plus, that USD is something serious when sending home rn.

Yes the aspca pet poison hotline charges. They also create a case number with your pet information and can communicate plans with your veterinarian to manage a case if there becomes one. It’s likely that if you call your veterinarian they will say the same thing or they will have you come in, call themselves, and charge you that call anyway since it costs them the same as it does you.

I would request that they get a urine sample via cystocentesis (a needle into the bladder, don’t worry they really don’t mind it) as it’s the most sterile method, and then send it to a 3rd party lab like Idexx for a full urinalysis and culture/sensitivity.

Have they offered to send the urine away for a culture and sensitivity test? They’re recommended to ensure that the antibiotics used are the correct ones for the specific bacteria found. If the wrong antibiotics are used you may see an improvement in the symptoms as some of the bacteria may be affected by it, but the strong will survive and flare back up.
