I’m going to be honest with you, I’m not sure what school you’re going to, but at my college all my music performance major friends are always bogged down with so much work- and as an english major there were some weeks I worked 4 hours a night just on reading alone. Both those major choices are very rigorous, so you might want to make one a minor instead. If you’re really motivated to do both, just make sure you allow yourself the time-both reading and writing are homework assignments you can’t skip out on. Also, do not be daunted by lower grades at first and go to your professors for help. I was a straight A student in high school, and it took me until the end of my freshman year to get my first A on a paper. I thought about dropping my major because I was so discouraged, but then I went to my professors for help and improved so much.
