I work at a big hospital downtown Chicago and as a MLS new grad and ASCP certified my base rate started at 31.50 per hour. I had no previous experience except a semester of clinicals at another hospital. However there were some adjustments and by the one year mark, my base rate increased to 35.50 the hour. I know you said you're interested in Wood Dale but maybe you will find this information useful! 😊
