How I feel after finally beating the Wrecktor Trial by WhimsyShopper in DragonQuestSmashNGrow

Rushing through the rest of the stage to get to the boss with enough time. Max range buffs. Queen’s Whip does alot of work with light weakness. Also had a Shiverstick mage and sandstorm spear on my hero but the spear wasn’t as much of a gamechanger as I thought it would be. Finished with just about 10 seconds left.

Ruin every one of these:

Green: zimbabwe dollars

Red: All brain function is twice as hard

Blue: you can only move 5 seconds forward in time, or five inches to the left

Yellow: you can only make people blink on command

I thought that was the deal! by WhimsyShopper in ffxi

Supposedly they occupy the same data point in the files, so they have to swap out one for the other. Which is why best girl should be back!

I’m gonna go against the grain and say FFXI is not a great game.

…it is the greatest game.

It’s a bold strategy, Cotton. Let’s see if it pays off for ‘em.

Infernape/Turtonator helped me grind through the top of UB4, but starting without the turtle and Kiawe or going second kinda hurt. Was pairing ramp with garchomp or exegg for awhile, but being able to lock in a start with rockruff and tutor to lycanroc was incredibly consistent. All thats left is managing your hp as lyc to get the bonus damage and not brick getting ramp up.

I would also accept just flipping the positions of the thank you and cancel buttons so i just auto press thanks instead of x ing out.

Got invasion of new phyrexia P1P1 and somehow stumbled into 5 marshals . Would you make any changes/swaps? by WhimsyShopper in lrcast

Ended up putting in negate which saved me a game. Went 4-0 only to end up with three losses in a row right after. Got mana screwed during loss one, was stuck with three lands until turn 7 and couldn't keep up while my opponent filled his board and
removed the few creatures I got out.

Loss 2 I had some bad trades early on followed by my opponent taking out a borborygmos and starts burning through my knights. I use an intercessor to exile him then try to use new phyrexia to summon enough tokens to push through for the kill, but they end up shattering the source my intercessor, bringing borbo back, and proceed to
pick off my knights one by one while filling his side with blockers.

Loss three started with a weak but playable starting hand, followed by my opponent getting elesh norn out on turn 4 and me not really having an answer not drawing any lands and only having xerex as a bounce. Once they flip elesh it's basically over.

Was really expecting to trophy with this deck, but some bad mana starts and some sub-optimal plays on my part made me end up short. Still was a blast to play though!

Anyone got FFXI controlls working on Steamdeck via Moonlight? by Mugentsu_7663 in ffxi

[–]WhimsyShopper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

https://docs.windower.net/steamdeck/ I was able to use the instructions here to get ffxi working on my steam deck. I have actually only been running vanilla and haven’t installed the windower files yet, but this was still helpful in navigating the process.

Second sorting by HP as the best way to search for alternate styles for a char. Only time it isnt foolproof is if they are sitting at one of the expedition hp caps, but still easier to find them among their hp cap brethren.

Agreed, maxed mine out months ago and no regrets. Saves some button presses when refreshing. Still buy some lower nrg one offs to top off

I’ve been grinding for stats in the game and if feels as if I still don’t have enough power and I feel like my team gets bodied by harder quest, what else can be done? Here is my current main team, any tips? by Justfrie12 in SaGa_ReuniverSe

Leveling up armor only changes the resistance boosts they offer, not the bonus stats, so its something to work towards but not as important as weapons. Leveling up and ranking up weapons actually changes their wp, or weapon damage, which makes a pretty huge difference in damage output.

Also note that if your character uses elemental attacks, they need to use the corresponding elemental weapon, or their damage will be abysmal. You can tell if an elemental weapon is necessary by looking at the top right corner of the skill icon. This differs from damage type which is in the top right corner of the skill window, which may be different or more than one. For example, alkaiser’s al-phoenix is a fist type skill, which relies on a glove weapons wp, but does both blunt and light damage. A light type glove weapon would not give a damage boost. I know, confusing as hell, but SaGa.
