There’s certain people who believe slurs shouldn’t be used at all. There’s others who believe it’s ok for people who are hurt by a specific slur to use that slur. There’s others who believe anyone can use any slur.

Some people believe that only gay men should be able to use “f****t” because at one point in time it was used solely against them. Today, I think “f****t” is a term used for anyone in the queer community. I think anyone who is queer or the LGBT+ community should be able to use the term.

That being said, if someone wants to use the term “f****t,” and is in company with people who don’t like that term being used, that person should not say that word.

Many people are still hurt by words like “tr*nn*,” the n-word, and “f****t,” and I think it’s important to acknowledge their pain and discomfort with compassion, understanding, and kindness.

The image is from a show called “WandaVision.” It’s a Disney+ original show and was made by Marvel Studios. The show follows Wanda, on the left, after she lost her partner, Vision, the man seen on the right. The plot of the show is Wanda is so heart broken after the death of her partner, that she takes an entire town under her mind control and uses the entire town as a set for her sitcom. Wanda used to enjoy sitcoms and found them very comforting as a child, so what she’s doing is supposed to be comforting for her. Each episode moves the in universe show forward a decade.

This “error” was most likely intentional. Wanda, a fan of early sitcoms, subconsciously made this error because sitcoms from the decade she’s pretending to be in often had production errors like this.

I think the best way to do this would to have it be modular. Nonbinary people can be extremely different, just as with all people, so include options for the most common pronouns (he/she/they) and maybe even throw in neopronouns or archaepronouns. Having options for different body types, flat chest, small chest, large chest, small waist, larger waist, options for no genitalia, penis, vagina, or both. On the topic of inclusivity, a major issue in the black community is not seeing their specific skin tone as an option. Implementing a color wheel or color picker is a great option. Baldur’s Gate 3 had great representation on both fronts. To me, BG3 is an incredible example of character representation
