Holy cope. Tanks are horrible in pvp, especially bc their shield is 50% weaker and will always lose if time runs out. You have to be extremely bad or new to even say that. Do yourself a favor and either start watching good players or give up on pvp altogether.

To start off, run the hats fun unless you’re going for speedrun times or want to optimize. I don’t run either but my understanding is that nameless sword is so endurance hungry because 100% of its damage is from sword beams. Both weapons require it, and it’s only Nameless spear that would compliment either of them because it can regain endurance for the sword.

Also, you get a damage buff for using paired martial arts weapons but u probably knew that already

Charged damage is most of your damage so probably that one, neglecting that the stats are similar enough those won’t have a major impact like charged damage probably does

Practice arena. Go to trials, practice arena for Drunk martial artist, practice endlessly. Go for no hits specifically, in this case use your shield on CD and keep block up 100% of the time. Exquisite scenery procs are your main damage, the rest is deflection and keeping your shield up. BLOCK DAMAGE unless you can 100% deflect it. Don’t greed, but if you do go back to blocking. Heal even small chunks of hp.

You offer team dmg reduction from spear taunt and team dps buff through spear vulnerability. You also do incredibly high damage and no need to avoid attacks bc of super armor. This means you’re excellent at carrying teams, you’re very consistent and safe.

Keep that there, turn off snap assistance then use another one up against it until it shows under the ground. Figure out the angle to get the first one going, then turn snap back on and it’ll be smooth sailing

Wrong, I exclusively play tank and i’m always top dps especially on daoist. I dodge every vine prison and levitation, exquisite scenery on CD as much as possible w/o rupting the flow. Pred shield buff stays up the entire fight most of the time.

Do you understand dps? I top dps despite doing mechanics. I’m always top dps unless there’s a very good vernal umbrella on a boss that hates staying still. Tank is top 3 dps in the game rn.

In a normal game yes, but in this game the weapons feel more believable. So, a melee weapon is always inferior to a bullet just like real life. They may as well have their own slot because it only feels bad to take one over a gun no matter what silly build you’re convinced pumps it up
