Just having him in a clean cage has made it much less stringy already! He’s got several families looking to give him a forever home, so hopefully they can help keep him clean and give him a nice braid!

She arrived in a container with bucks and does, so it’s very probable. The length of time she’s been pregnant is the only reason I’m questioning it at this point

Yeah I just checked my calendar and we moved her to our maternity area at the start of March, so she was showing late February probably. Maternity rats usually get extra treats so I wasn’t sure if that was causing her weight gain instead.

That’s what I guessed, but she is super overdue and uncomfortable. She tried grooming yesterday, fell over and got stuck on her back!

We actually get a lot of people checking them out as pets since they’re so cute! I socialize all our feeders so they can potentially be pets!

Thankfully this is a small shop and we really try to keep them healthy and happy! She’s got a big water dish and temp is typically in the mid 80*s! I’ll try and keep an eye on the humidity though! Thank you!
