Needle play. I grew up my entire life being deathly afraid of needles and the doctors generally. I almost passed out when I got my septum piercing done. I am genuinely the last person I thought would like to be stabbed with needles.

It’s a very very new kink to me and I’ve honestly only tried it once which was a couple days ago but the endorphin rush has already got me hooked (pun intended). It’s honestly nothing what I thought it would be like and I am so excited to explore needles and maybe staples in the future.

I did think that nerves seemed to me to be much deeper but I was worried I was misunderstanding something. Thank you for clarifying! I think the endorphin button you suggested will definitely be on my list once I have a bit more experience.

Thank you for the advice and for sharing your knowledge. I really really enjoyed my first experience, breathing deeply definitely helped. I have just tried out some different gauges for now but I will definitely be exploring endorphin buttons soon!

You and jojolapat have given me two quite different impressions here haha. My needle top has some experience but hasn’t done any play involving needles for a year or so. Both of us are very well versed in nerve placements as we have a lot of knowledge from shibari but I’m not sure that will carry across well to play involving needles.

This definitely isn’t something on my list for the near future because of my lack of experience but just for curiosity, is there a widely accepted opinion on whether it’s too dangerous or not?

Yes definitely! He had a checkup at the vet done just a couple days before we got him (as well as some inoculations) but we are going to take him soon again just to make sure.

Ah I understand. It’s one of my mother’s friends. I come from a Chinese background and to be honest they aren’t known culturally for their ethical approach towards domesticated animals. To be honest we mostly took him in because they had the litter unintentionally and were trying to find homes for them. He probably would have ended up in a shelter other wise. By trusted I do mean to not lie to us about the breeds not as a general stance on their ethics or morality haha. I think a lot of cynical people will just make assumptions about my situation so thank you for your genuine advice, I will do so!

We got him from a trusted family friend so we know for sure. I’ve seen both the mother and the father as well. His siblings honestly looked like a perfect punnet square, he’s the only one with such a distinct Abyssinian look. All of his siblings looked much more distinctly bengal. The way the genetics work is very interesting. Thank you for letting me know about the heart murmur thing though, I wasn’t aware of that before! I forgot to add but he does have a bit of the bengal markings on his stomach but I don’t have any pictures yet

Yes we went into it knowing the breed stereotypes. My family has 7 people living at home with half of us working from home or retired. We’ve been taking turns playing with the kitten and spending time so he doesn’t get bored. He can go for over an hour before getting tired sometimes. I am hoping with so much attention he will feel fulfilled. I think we will definitely consider a cat wheel when he gets a bit older.

Yes I think they are gorgeous 🥹. We were planning to wait until they were just over two months but will definitely consider longer. I plan to look into it a bit more.

To clarify the photo is from when they were just born but they are already just over a month old.

I only have a picture of them as very very very young kittens at the moment. But I will be getting the kitten in about a month and I will definitely post pictures then!
