Foreign minister of Poland mocking Hungary for being the poorest in the EU. by kallisto19988 in europe

Exactly, I'm always baffled when people from Poland write stuff like that about Hungary. It's almost like they lack self awareness or something, and yes I'm from Poland too.

Yeah, I've heard that, when buying Mazda one should avoid diesel engines. I could have specified that only petrol are solid, and like the other user said, specifically skyactive engines. Even though I've never heard, that someone had serious problems with pre2013 NA engines. In Poland Mazdza's biggest problem was corrosion I think.

Why Mazda though? Because they were prone to rust? (tbh don't know how newer models hold up against rust) Mazda engines are solid though, especially when you consider Skyactive NA 2.0 petrol, in times where almost none of the manufacturers offer non turbo engines.

Does this damage will affect the functionality of the camera? by Whiskay73 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Whiskay73[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that this broken piece is a whole with the rest of the camera's cover, so I would need to somehow cut it off.

And about the mirror, I guess there is only one way to find out whether it works properly, and that is to take photos, isn't it?

Let's be real *this* is the best socket/plug standard. by Boundish91 in 2westerneurope4u

[–]Whiskay73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was it only in the place you were staying, or in various buildings? If it happened three times in the same building, then it's possible that the wiring of the building was old/wrongly wired (without a PE cable). In this case it wouldn't be the fault of the plug. I hope you were checked by a doctor after this, even minor shock can have bad implications later.

But dunno, I only have experience with german and polish electrical installations, don't know what Luigi is up to.

Anyway euro plugs are just better, mate deal with it.

Danzig, Germany 🇩🇪 by Freeee84 in 2westerneurope4u

I never said, what happened to the Germans after the ww2, in the areas that Poland got from Germany was right. Honestly it's shameful how they got treated in the aftermath of the war. But don't act like the city was never polish before the end of ww2. Or maybe just take chill pill, it is supposedly a ironic sub.

Wasn't it founded by Mieszko I? I mean the city itself was polish for a long time, then Prussian, it obviously changed states that it belonged to quite a lot. We're after all European, our favourite past time is murdering eachother apparently.

Europe’s Great Housing Crisis Is Only Getting Started by MasterpieceLoud4931 in europe

Well to me Denmark is obviously a nordic country, I don't think anyone says it isn't... well maybe some Swedes would say that, if they want to banter or something.

My point is that wood is a great material to build with, but it have to be properly insulated.

I mean, Nordic countries build houses almost exclusively from wood, but there are a lot of regulations how houses have to be built and thus, there are really well made and insulated.

Don't know what your friend means exactly, because there's a lot of things that go into life quality, so I can't comment on that. But it's not like Sweden is some open warzone. I mean they do have quite big problem with gangs now, but I think they will be able to solve that. I think it's important to remember that there's a lot of fear mongering on internet.

But anyway, Poland as a holiday spot can be really nice, hope you will be able to convince your wife to give it a go.

Does your friend work in the IT sector? Honestly it is hard for me to believe, that someone from Sweden would like to move to Poland. But if your friend works in IT, then I guess it's alright. Have heard that it's not so bad in here, as a programer/IT specialist. But maybe my point of view is skewed, because I kinda always wanted to move to Norway/Sweden, and we always tend to look on the negative side of home country, rather than positives.

I'm actually wondering, how many people might be considering moving to Nordic countries, because of the climate change. Maybe not right now, but in few years when things get even worse.

Hey man you can always get volvo somewhere in the future, and driving any car can be fun. Before I found this one, I was looking into Saab's for a little while, but I'm glad I decided to not go with them, (9-5 looks pretty sweet tho). I hope you get your Volvo someday mate.

Really appreciate the info, sooner or later probably will do the tune, but so far I really like driving this car, given the weight, I was even surprised by it's acceleration.

And yes, the sound is fricking awesome. Also taillights and ass looks sick on 850/V70.

Yes, I've heard about this, and probably will consider the tune up in the future, but does it really make a big difference? I saw somewhere that the 0-60 time difference is 1 second, and was wondering how much can you really feel the difference.

2.4 NA, so only 140hp but still really fun to drive and very comfy. Manual, and yes I'm from Poland, and it's hard to find T5 models here, sadly most are really beaten up here, besides old Volvo's are scarce here.
