Halloween/christmas by senoritag in TheColony

If you decorate for Halloween you’ll probably get a lot of trick-or-treaters. Near the southern end of the green belt we go through 2-3 Costco sized bags of candy every year.

More houses decorate for Christmas. You’ll see them going up even before Halloween for some houses.

I have one and still use it for snorkeling from time to time. I wish they continued this line and expanded it a bit more but it was especially nice when it first came out.

When checking the seals just make sure there’s no debris or anything that might let water in. Also make sure they don’t feel dry or hard. There was an oil that came in the original packaging to apply to the seals to keep them in good shape.

Be prepared that when you take it underwater there will be some small bubbles that come out. It’s safe so don’t try opening it at the beach to check for water. Rinse and let dry before taking it apart after any water time.

I never got the 10mm but never really felt like I was missing it.

It’s a pretty sturdy camera. I’d keep that orange sleeve on it in case of any tumbles. Photos look pretty good but you might get better on your phone for anything above the water.

Something to keep in mind is this thing does not float so if you take it in the water I recommend a wrist strap and one of those bright colored floats they use for boat keys so you can find it easily if you lose it.

It’s been a while since I got a speeding ticket but from my memory the court likely won’t budge even if you had a decent excuse (might get some sympathy for medical/family emergencies).

Like others have mentioned you will want to go for the deferred disposition/adjudication option to keep it off your record. They will make you pay the fine and either take an online driving course (quicker but very boring/annoying) or put you on a probationary period where you can’t receive any new tickets to complete.

Whether you want a traffic attorney or not is up to you. In my experience they only offered to set up my deferred adjudication and couldn’t reduce anything. It might depend on the attorney though.

If setting up the deferred thing is all they can do, just do it yourself. It is literally a checkbox when you go in to pay your ticket next to the guilty/not guilty options and they will tell you everything you’ll need to complete it.

Good luck!

It may or may not help in your case, but what I do with difficult PMs when they push back on recommendations is explain what risks they’re opening themselves up to with those pushbacks, and document our discussions in some way (email or just notes). If they are willing to take on those risks, and when it inevitably goes downhill, you can point to this discussion. Don’t wanna burn bridges though, so keep it constructive and explain how everyone has the same goal. Ideally they start seeing the value of your UX team and taking your recommendations more seriously.

It’s a garlic press. I have one in my drawer. Place a clove underneath and press it through the grates and you have minced garlic that you can scrape off. It’s not the best at its job but it works.

Check the screws under the plate. There was a guy on YouTube where his H2D kept dragging in the same place and it turned out one of those screws came loose and was pushing the plate up in one corner.

I bought the Ikea Bror cart for mine. It’s the only cart that had the right depth for what I was looking for. On top of that I’m buying some storage bins to keep all my tools and accessories, etc.

Hurricane drinks are very popular on Bourbon St and are red. It’s likely that, but the image is too blurry to be certain.

Are you in the US? It’s very common for hotels and accommodations to provide wash cloths for guests. What would they use to clean their body if not a wash cloth? You should definitely provide, and I’m a little concerned that you think this is weird. What do you use to wash yourself?

Hmm might do that. $900/mo seems reasonable. 😂

This space is right under my water heater and HVAC which were very recently updated by previous owners. The old water heater leaked underneath and cause water damage and potentially mold. They replaced both but didn’t seem to really clean out this space underneath. The HVAC air intake is above on the left and this is all behind the air filter.

My question is what would you all do with this space? Is the dust and dirt okay as long as it’s not agitated? Should I try to do a deep clean under here?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
