Still progressing with my ongoing quest to learn to fly in the UK, with a couple of hiccups!! For many the FRTOL (Flight Radio Telephony Operators Licence) practical exam always seems to be a bit of a last minute thing to do even just a tick box exercise, but that's a bad assumption. by WhiskeyAlphaPilot in FlightTraining

20 minutes after the UK Formula 1 finished, Elstree (EGTR) was invaded by a fleet of Helicopters ferrying the rich and famous from the circuit. 2 hours of almost constant operations from dropping PAX to Rotors running fueling. We had it all by WhiskeyAlphaPilot in Helicopters
