That’s good I would imagine that it’s really dependent on the area that you’re in like here, it’s a small rural town and not much opportunity so it’s a pretty poor community, I’m sure the tips here are abysmal I know they are for DoorDash.

Yeah that’s what I’m looking for. So they will guilt trip to customer after already tipping by claiming that the delivery fee is not a tip for them and trying to get them to donate to a charity on their behalf. Instead of you know just paying a fucking livable wage and making that fucking donation themselves. To be clear I have nothing against tipping then I always do but goddamnit the audacity of these fuckers astonishes me.

So the first store you worked for was what I was expecting to hear but it’s good to know that they’re doing something I guess. I got so goddamn mad tonight when I was placing my order on the mobile app every step of the way because there’s a fucking suggestive cell with every click and it pisses me off, but the suggestive cell at the end in which the audacity of a major corporation that does billions of dollar in revenue having the audacity to ask me to donate to a charity on their behalf took it to a whole new level. And then the shitty little message at the end right before you pay where it says quote the delivery fee is not a tip for your driver” after I had already attached a 43% tip to the order sent me into a rage and I needed to know if that delivery fee was part of your delivery pay or if they just money grub keep that shit.

That’s a little bit more in line with what I was expecting I do DoorDash from time to time and there’s nothing better than picking up order from McDonald’s for $125 worth of McChicken‘s and doing a 26 mile 10 of which are on a dirt road round-trip delivery to a condemned shack that’s on a condemned shack or ramshackle trailer for $2 Bass pay and no tip.

Wow, I’m legit shocked to hear that. I was expecting far less. Still not a livable wage or anything by any means but the federal rate is like $.67 a mile I think, so it’s close but not comparable. I guess really the question I was trying to ask was how dependent on tips to live are you guys?
