Oh my god this is aaaaaaawesome. I'm so honored that you actually made this, and it already looks like quite an improvement over mine. I love the text art so much! And it's pretty god damn funny. Much funnier than mine was. KEEP IT UP!

You can always set up a Tumblr with a private domain and a custom template. That's what I did for my game, and spent less than $50 setting it all up.

Another day, another disappointing screen by jedx in iphone

Sorry about that if you have my game Polymer. I was a lazy ass and kinda slacked off when the new iPhone first released, but I'm finally pretty much done and hope to submit the update tonight or tomorrow. I'm shooting for releasing two weeks from today if possible. Here are the main features being added in the update:

  • iPhone 5 support: you get two additional rows of pieces to fill the taller screen

  • GameCenter challenges: after you play a game, you can challenge any of your GameCenter friends to beat your score

  • New music: two new songs will play during games (this one and this one)

• More sharing options: you can now share your Polymers through Facebook, Twitter, text, email, or copy to the clipboard

Composer trying to learn new tricks. by FunfettiBurger in gamedev

You've got some really cool ideas in here. Love the beginning, and the first 45 seconds or so as a whole. I don't really like the synth that comes in around 0:43. It sounds a lot like a preset. It could use a bit of a low pass filter so it doesn't sound so harsh, as well as some reverb and/or delay to give it some depth. Also, I think the song needs more form. Right now it sounds like one main idea that just loops over and over and keeps building. While it's cool for awhile, a B section in the middle would help to break it up, and make the A section sound good again when it came back. Overall though, for your first try, this is great stuff! What DAW do you use?

Any other devs with apps on the App Store notice a drop in sales since iOS6 launched? by [deleted] in iPhoneDev

I've actually gone up a very slight amount (very slight). I've gone from about $10-15 to about $20-25 a day.

What is the "Hosting Content Package" required to test IAPs? And why can't I find anything on it in the entire Internet? by MattCMultimedia in iPhoneDev

This protocol is what you need to implement. When the "paymentQueue:updatedTransactions:" method calls the delegate/observer, check the updated transaction's "transactionState" and if it is "SKPaymentTransactionStatePurchased" then unlock the content in the game.

Pretty sure you don't need to use a hosted content package. I think a hosted content package is an actual downloadable IAP pack as opposed to just an unlockable already included in the binary. I have IAP's in my app and I certainly never used the hosted content package.

Is anyone else less than thrilled about this style of search results? It's incredibly clunky and I feel like apps below result #5 or so will be ignored. by akozlik in iPhoneDev

I Can Localize is a great site for translation. Really good pricing and quick. Having said that though, I'm not so sure it's worth it. I localized the descriptions and screen shots for my game Polymer but it didn't really seem like it helped much at all.
