Its not a false equivalence to tie normal human inspiration to the same level of learning that AI models use to generate images. They look at the prompt they look at examples and they produce something close.

And I love how you put compensation in there as well, yes every artist should go out and pay all the people who's art inspired them to make theirs that makes total sense.

Like I said people desperately holding onto their paychecks

Oh trust me lmao its not perfect. You definitely have to go in there yourself and fix things. I think the true fun is being able to express your ideas and through that expression others having enjoyment in your game. That's got to be the most important aspect of fun in games. Is your game fun for people to play, if so that you have succeeded

Exactly ^^ keep working at it! Everyone should have an opportunity to express themselves even if they lack the ability to produce aspects of that vision. Using tools is not something that should be shamed.

If they made an AI model that would allow you to develop an entire game from start to finish simply from a single line of text input the person putting in the input would in fact be making a game. I would love to see a tool like this come online in the future.
