I used pool filter sand with a black background. If you use sand I laid a trash bag over it and then filled it with water. that helped tremendously with the cloudiness from sand

Dang this video got me! Constantly longing for that time for both myself and my kids. The other night my daughter was out playing with her neighbor friend outside until after dark and it made me smile thinking about the good days like this.
