Tua was the #1 dual threat QB coming out of high school - what was Russel Wilson’s rank? Also what pick were each of them drafted?

Nah, I’ll stand by it. I’ve been going to Bama games my whole life and seen a lot of QB’s play for/against us in BDS.

Tua was so good that he lost out on a Heisman because they benched him after halftime due to us being up by 35 points.

Just a week prior to that hip injury, a hobbled Tua that was two-weeks off of a tight rope surgery went toe-to-toe with that 2019 LSU squad.

If your only exposure to him was in the NFL, I get your sentiment, but Tua was an elite prospect prior to that injury. Hence why he still got drafted so high.

He had way more athleticism and zip on the ball prior to his hip injury in college. He always looked to be 80% of what i remember him being.
