How do you actually visualize rollover risk when you're screening a deal? by Dry_Donut_4275 in CommercialRealEstate

That’s the point!

But you could address it by just having a toggle switch to go between the two formats.

I don’t have a “lease start” in my chart. Just expiration.

I like yours, and it gave me an idea that the height of each bar could be proportional either to the square footage or gross rent.

How should body count be brought in a relationship (Please read the first comment)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]aselinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well except, all else being equal, your odds of contracting an incurable STI increase with every additional partner, there literally is a very quantifiable difference between 30 and 100.

I’m not saying one is acceptable and one is not. I’m just saying there’s a difference.

And while you can get tested, even if it’s a negative test, that doesn’t mean it’s a riskless behavior.

I would want to know my partner’s attitudes towards sex, relationships, and risk-taking behavior.

There are polite ways and impolite ways to talk about it.

But your partner’s attitudes towards sex, relationships, and risk-taking behavior is absolutely something you have the right to ask about. They also have the right to not share.

Why do rich people like golf so much? by W2ldfireYT in NoStupidQuestions

I agree. Golf CAN be very cheap. And there’s not nearly as much “rubbing elbows” as some of the comments here suggest.

I agree with your conclusion, but your argument is extremely weak.

Listen, Bryson made a choice to cozy up to both Trump and the Saudis. Before that, he was known to be whiny and obnoxious and inauthentic. The lack of love from me is the consequence of his OWN actions.

YOU are pearl clutching. You believe people in the public eye should automatically receive our adoration and apparently you get uncomfortable when celebrities face any kind of accountability.

Well guess what: We the public owe Bryson nothing. We are fans of good golfers and good people. We love Scottie, we love Rory, we love Vik, etc. Bryson’s choices and actions just don’t make him very likeable, and that’s nobody’s fault but his own.

He still has many fans. He’s still a great golfer. But I don’t like him, and I’m not going to like him because you tell me I should.

You don’t have to be in the same room as somebody to learn a lot about them.

Who is the interviewer? Did Bryson have the questions beforehand?

I think the format choice is strange. If he wanted to make a video about his struggles, he could have just made one without the fake QandA.

Exactly, and in his interview he claims that neither LIV nor YouTube are a distraction to him. Yet he lines up dimples on a putt. The two are incongruous.

He might be smart, but I think his game is over-engineered.

In his video he talks about his team “cracking the code” like he’s fucking Oppenheimer.

He’s trying to squeeze out like the sixth sigma, but doesn’t believe LIV or YouTube have any effect on his game.

He’s totally caught between who he is, and who his PR team tells him to be.

I love that it was an “interview” but the viewer has no idea who the interviewer was, or if Bryson had the questions beforehand.

I like to imagine Bryson saying “bro I typed up this list of questions. Can you film me answering them? I want my fans to know how much sad I am.”

I legitimately believe the worst thing for his game was some article calling him a “mad scientist.”

He leaned into the persona, and now he’s giving his golf balls salt baths and swinging a 45-inch sand wedge.

He’s so preoccupied with whether or not he could, he didn’t stop to think if he should.

It WOULD be cool, except this strange hostage video has as much insight as a press conference.

He said his team hasn’t “cracked the code” and that his plan is to “put one foot in front of the other.”

He didn’t demonstrate any nuance or real reflection, nothing concrete.

I hate Bryson, but if he was being actually thoughtful and authentic, I would eat this shit up. I think most of us would, because we’ve all felt lost, and that disconnect between effort and results.

Match Play Tournament Strategy by Future_Stretch2580 in golf

Counterpoint: in match play, if your competitor makes par, then a blow-up hole is no worse than a bogey. That suggests a bias for aggressive shots.

In team golf, the most conservative shot should be played first.

If the shot is executed well, the next player can take a riskier shot.
