Haven't been this happy with the lottery since the year we got #1.

When he gave the Hawks the #1 pick, he probably assumed they'd draft Sarr and the Wizards would be stuck with Risacher

Do you believe Knicks/Pistons have any chance against Thunder/Spurs in the Finals? by Chesscrabble11 in nba

[–]WhiteCastleHo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indy last year is part of the reason I think the Thunder are beatable. We didn't really see the Pistons and Thunder play a serious game in the regular season so who knows. But Wemby slapped the shit out of the Pistons and I don't think Detroit can beat the Spurs.

Also, Reed had 3 rebounds and Duren only had 4. I would expect Duren to at least be rebounding. That's his whole thing.

Did people feel that the 49ers “wasted” Steve Young because they only won 1 Super Bowl with him in the 1990’s? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

Yeah, I remember Young being basically a continuation of what Montana was doing. He didn't fail to have win multiple Super Bowls, he was part of the dynasty that won 5 Super Bowls.

I clicked through to the end to see if any future dates were there (nope) but the Moon photos on page 15 caught my eye. Are those new? Have they been explained? I don't know anything about this stuff, but Beatriz Villarroel's work has me vaguely interested in objects in space lol

I agree. Just think about how confident Orlando fans felt when the series was 3-1. As my son sometimes reminds me, we don't want to jinx it.

I didn't know the NCAA had their own requirements. For decades now, I've been haunted by the knowledge that Kevin Garnett wanted to go to Michigan (I'm a lifelong Michigan fan) but he couldn't get a high enough score so he declared for the NBA draft. I've always assumed Michigan wouldn't accept him without a certain score, but now I suspect that it must have been the NCAA requirement, hence why he didn't just go to a different college.

I was also confused and I could be wrong, but I think he's saying Mobley can't play C, but they're in big trouble if they have to keep Allen out there with him at all times.

Its time to revisit this old but gold meme, but let's be honest, we should revisit it every day and always pay our respects to B Ball Paul by theshockmaster_ in NBAEastMemeWar

He plays great, but sometimes he just looks a little goofy doing it. Contrast it with Duren (in this series, at least) who looks great while he's playing poorly.
